PETA Unveils Powerful Campaign Exposing the Harsh Realities of Pig Farming in Latest Shocking Film

Animal rights group PETA has launched a campaign video to dissuade the public from consuming pork by showcasing the harsh conditions on pig farms. The video, inspired by the ‘Cuphead’ video game and ‘Ren & Stimpy’ cartoon, was created by Grey London and directed by Jeff Low of Biscuit Filmworks. PETA claims the violent film will alter perceptions of bacon and highlights that the majority of UK pork comes from factory farms, where pigs endure dismal living conditions.

PETA’s vice-president, Mimi Bekhechi, commends the innovative team at Grey for creating a shareable video challenging the status quo. The video combines disturbing cartoon imagery with a catchy song to shift attitudes and remind people of the sentient beings behind every piece of bacon. The campaign includes out-of-home executions referencing the “This Little Piggy” nursery rhyme and merchandise like a pig-year calendar, reflecting a farmed pig’s reported six-month lifespan. Director Jeff Low expresses hope that future generations will question current treatment of animals.
