Löfbergs, the Swedish coffee brand, has chosen Ark Agency as creative partner in the UK, emerging victorious in a competitive pitch involving five other agencies. The process was managed by PepRoom Consulting. The account was previously held by Krow X. Ark’s appointment signals an exciting new chapter for Löfbergs UK as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the competitive UK coffee market.

Initiative X Ecotone

Ecotone, the owner of Clipper Tea, Whole Earth and Kallo brands, has selected IPG’s Initiative to handle its media planning and buying account across Europe following a competitive pitch run by Ebiquity, in which Initiative won out against two other agencies. Covering France, Germany and UK, the account is worth €7m (£5.8m). Wavemaker UK was the incumbent on the account. According to Will Spence, chief executive of Initiative in the UK and Ireland, Initiative will team up with Ecotone to implement media strategies aimed at driving brand growth while amplifying key messages of biodiversity and sustainability across diverse platforms.

BBH London X Ribena

Ribena, the soft-drink brand owned by Suntory Beverage and Food Great Britain and Ireland, has reappointed the incumbent on the account Bartle Bogle Hegarty London. The review was reported on in September. BBH has now retained the account after repitching against undisclosed agencies. Holly Ripper, Managing Director of BBH London, expressed her excitement about the ongoing collaboration, emphasizing Ribena’s status as an iconic British brand with deep emotional connections for those who grew up enjoying it.

the7stars X Great British Racing

Great British Racing, the marketing body for British horse racing, has appointed the7Stars to manage its £5m media planning and buying account following a competitive pitch. Simon Michaelides, Interim Chief Customer Officer at Great British Racing, highlighted The7stars’ passion for horse racing and their deep understanding of the leisure audience the organization aims to engage. He noted that their alignment with Great British Racing’s vision makes them an excellent fit for the business.
