Ocado Evaluates Media Account
Ocado Retail is currently reassessing its UK media account, seeking support from Flock Associates to manage the review process. Previously, the account has been managed by Hearts & Science, an Omnicom agency, and Threepipe Reply, a brand performance agency, since 2021. The review commenced this week, with plans to issue requests for proposals in April. According to Flock Associates, the goal of this review is to enhance consistency in planning and buying for Ocado’s brand and performance media, aiming for optimized operations. Prior to this, OMD UK was responsible for Ocado’s media account from 2017 until 2021. Eilidh MacAskill, Ocado Retail’s marketing director, emphasized the objective to advance and secure their media capabilities for the future. This involves initiating a competitive pitch process for the combined media business, covering both brand and performance aspects, to ensure Ocado Retail secures the best media support available.
